Set up whatever space is available to use as a real office. This may be anything from the dining
room table to an entire room (a room, or at least a corner of a room is preferable, of course).
Always have the basic office necessities available: notepaper, sticky notes, pens, printer paper,
extra printer ink cartridge, floppies or zip disks or cd's if you use them. A small bookcase or just
a simple shelf or two on the wall will give you a place to keep folders with ebooks you have
printed, customer or mailing list backup copies, follow-up letter series, etc.
A very big part of internet marketing success
is dependent upon conveying a professional,
ethical, and trustworthy image. So many
businesses convey just the opposite image
without seeming to realize it. So I'll
point out just a few things you may be doing
that probably hurt your business more than
you realize. 1. Domain Name. It IS a widely held belief
that if you don't have your own domain name
and a site hosted by a paid host, you are
somehow fly-by-night. Free web pages are
great for non-profit purposes - but not for
business purposes.
I receive a lot of email from subscribers wanting to start their own ezine. For those of you who haven't discovered this "secret" yet, this is one of the most effective online methods of marketing there is. You have hundreds, and then thousands of prospects invite you to place your email offerings directly in their email boxes - week after week. If you do a good job, they anxiously await each issue, and they look over your offers. THERE IS NO MORE-EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING MEDIUM AVAILABLE TO INTERNET MARKETERS!!! So there is the why - now on to the how. |
